This week in Language Arts...
Objectives: "I can..."
We continue to start each class with Sacred Writing Time and DOL. We will also continue working on prefixes and suffixes as an alternate activity to mix up our routine. In Language Arts students have submitted their final drafts of their Lit Review essays that go along with their Science Fair project. Students are now working on developing that Lit Review into a speech. Students will outline their speech, create a presentation with visuals for their speech, and create notecards. Hopefully students will be able to present these starting next week (Jan. 30).
- Correct grammatical errors
- Turn a written essay into a speech
- Create visuals that support a speech presentation.
- Write a strong thesis statement
